SUMMARY:

POSITION INFO:
Key Requirements Minimum 3-5 years' experience in freight forwarding operations. Strong knowledge of the forwarding process from booking through to final sailing/transhipment port. Experience handling sea freight shipments, shipping line bookings, draft bills of lading, warehouse receipts, schedules, and cargo tracking. Proficient in CargoWise and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, and Word). Strong administrative and customer service skills. Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, overseas agents, and service providers. Key Responsibilities Manage shipments from booking stage through to final sailing/transhipment port. Ensure all documentation is accurately completed and maintained. Provide shipment updates and proactive communication to customers. Coordinate with shipping lines, agents, and internal departments. Monitor shipment milestones and resolve operational issues efficiently. Maintain accurate records and ensure service excellence throughout the forwarding process. Ideal Candidate Profile Proven experience managing high-volume forwarding operations. Comfortable handling 100+ active shipments/files simultaneously. Able to manage a high-volume email environment and prioritise effectively. Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail. Thrives in a fast-paced environment and can work under pressure while meeting deadlines.
