Our client is seeking an experienced Flexible Packaging Print Operator to join their production team in Durban. The successful candidate must have specific hands-on experience operating a Windmöller & Hölscher (W&H) Alphaflex printing machine and a strong understanding of flexible packaging printing processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality printed packaging while ensuring production efficiency, quality standards, and machine performance.

• Set up, operate, and monitor the W&H Alphaflex printing machine to ensure efficient production and high-quality print output.
• Ensure accurate colour matching, print registration, and quality control while identifying and resolving printing defects during production.
• Perform routine machine checks, maintain a clean and safe working environment, and ensure production targets and quality standards are met.

• Grade 12 (Matric) advantageous.
• Proven experience as a Print Operator within the flexible packaging or printing industry.
• Specific hands-on experience operating a W&H Alphaflex printing machine is essential.
• Good understanding of flexible packaging printing processes.
• Knowledge of colour matching, print registration, ink preparation, and print quality control.
• Ability to identify and troubleshoot printing and machine-related problems.
• Understanding of production targets, quality standards, and workplace safety procedures.
• Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.

• Strong technical and machine-operating skills, with excellent attention to detail.
