This role is ideally suited to a technically strong CA(SA) who thrives in financial reporting, group consolidations, and IFRS governance. Reporting into senior finance leadership, you will take ownership of the reporting cycle, lead a high-performing finance team, and partner closely with executives, auditors, and board-level stakeholders to ensure accurate and compliant financial reporting across the organisation.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements: CA(SA) qualification essential. 3-5 years' post-articles experience within financial reporting, group consolidations, or financial management. Experience within a listed, manufacturing, industrial, or highly regulated environment. Strong technical IFRS knowledge, including IFRS 2, IFRS 9, IFRS 15, and IFRS 16 Experience with statutory reporting and annual financial statements. Proven people management and leadership capability Strong audit and stakeholder management experience. Advanced financial reporting systems exposure. Ability to perform under pressure and manage strict reporting deadlines. Key Responsibilities: Lead the preparation and review of consolidated interim and annual financial statements. Manage the group consolidation process and ensure compliance with IFRS and Companies Act requirements. Oversee the monthly financial close process and management reporting function. Prepare management accounts, board packs, and executive reporting submissions. Act as the technical accounting subject matter expert for the finance team. Prepare and review IFRS technical papers and accounting position documents. Drive budget consolidation, forecasting, and reporting processes. Manage relationships with internal and external auditors and oversee audit deliverables. Lead, mentor, and develop a team of finance professionals.
