Job Description

  • Country Estate & Game Reserve based close to Mkuze is looking for a Field Guide.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct game drives and boat safaris
  • Social media assistance
  • Deliver exceptional interpretive guiding and guest engagement
  • Manage lodge maintenance and overall property upkeep.
  • Support lodge operations
  • Participate in guest hosting and camp operations.
  • Assist with lodge administration and operational oversight.

Requirements

  • Grade 12
  • At least 1 years' guiding experience in a 4 / 5* lodge environment.
  • FGASA Nature Site Guide (NQF2)
  • Advanced Rifle Handling (ARH)
  • Trails Guide is an advantage
  • Valid driver's licence with PrDP
  • First Aid Level 1 or higher (Level 3 preferred)
  • Strong guest-interaction and storytelling skills; good knowledge of fauna, flora and birding
  • Skippers licence
