POSITION INFO:
The Opportunity In this role, you will use your project skills to run major trade shows and exciting concurrent conferences. You will step into a collaborative team that provides excellent mentorship and operational support from day one. Your work will ensure smooth floor operations, keep events on schedule, and deliver great results for corporate exhibitors. Job Description Manage operational schedules and project deadlines for major commercial exhibitions and industry conferences. Coordinate floor arrangements, site access, and logistical planning with the venue management team. Book and manage trusted suppliers for stand building, electrical installations, lighting, and audio-visual setups. Enforce health and safety regulations to ensure full event compliance and safe public spaces. Assist exhibitors with stand setups, technical inquiries, and general on-site support during trade shows. Supervise on-site contractors during the event build-up, live exhibition days, and breakdown stages. Track operational costs against budgets and help prepare post-show operational performance reviews. What You Need to Apply Diploma or Degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Public Relations, or Project Management. Three to five years of hands-on experience running trade shows, corporate expos, or conferences. Solid understanding of exhibition venue safety guidelines, local by-laws, and event compliance protocols. Proven ability to coordinate technical suppliers, stand builders, and audio-visual service contractors. Strong practical skills in tracking event operational budgets and controlling supplier costs. Clear and confident communication skills to deal effectively with corporate clients and venue teams. A positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and a reliable team-player approach.
