POSITION INFO:
Qualifications and Skills Suitable candidates must possess the following minimum qualifications and skills: Grade 12. Entry level - need to chop and chase walls. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills. Detail oriented. Ability to follow instructions. Highly motivated individual with strong self-management skills. High level of trustworthiness and ethical conduct. Ability to grind, cut and chase. The candidate must be physically fit. The person will be required to travel to the site. The work environment characteristics are those encountered in a typical environment. Essential Duties & Responsibilities The successful candidate's responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Dig holes and trenches, plant poles and lay cables in trenches. Chase and cut walls and concrete floors for conduit. Strip redundant installations and equipment incidental thereto from which the supply cables have been removed. Clean office and worship areas. Prepare refreshments. Install and fix flush and surface mounted wire ways and ancillary equipment thereto. Install cables including the fitting of glands, making off and securing such cables, but excluding the connection thereof. Being able to do trenching\/digging for cable installation.
