Salary Scale: (R274 140.00R355 840.32)

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12 plus N3 in Electrical engineering
• Code 10 Valid driver’s license
• Trade test certificate
• Computer literacy (MS Office Applications)
• Certificate of Compliance
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience
• Proficiency in at least two of the three official languages of the Eastern Cape (read, write and speak)

Key Performance Areas:

• Organizing working material, tools and equipment prior the works based on the works instruction.
• Responsible for the execution of functional duties in terms of safety regulations.
• Performs work activities and sequence on construction of electrical street lighting infrastructure.
• Perform activities and sequence associated with maintenance of street lighting systems on medium/low voltage electrical reticulation.
• Keeping good condition of tools and equipment.
• In order to ensure storage and proper utilization of material and working tools.
• Coordinate and control tasks or activities of personnel and outcomes.
