Driver Code 10 - Contractor Position Location: JHB - Braamfischer - Florida - Southern Suburbs Reporting to: Operation Type: Contractor Job Sector: Logistics, Warehouse & Freight Duties and Responsibilities Key Responsibilities: Safely operate company vehicles requiring a Code 10 driving licence. Deliver and collect goods according to scheduled routes and instructions. Conduct daily vehicle inspections before and after each trip. Ensure all goods are loaded, secured and transported safely. Verify delivery documentation, invoices, waybills and proof of delivery. Obtain signed proof of delivery from customers where required. Report vehicle defects, accidents, delays or incidents immediately. Maintain accurate trip sheets, vehicle records and delivery documentation. Assist with loading and offloading goods when required. Ensure the vehicle is kept clean and in good condition. Follow planned routes and comply with traffic and road safety regulations. Maintain professional communication with customers and represent the company positively. Report any discrepancies, damaged goods or delivery issues to the supervisor. Perform other reasonable duties related to the transport and logistics function. Minimum Requirements: Grade 12 \/ Matric preferred. Valid Code 10 driver's licence. Valid Professional Driving Permit (PrDP) where required for the vehicle and duties. Previous driving or delivery experience preferred. Good knowledge of South African roads and routes. Good communication and customer service skills.
