Requirements :

• Matric plus an undergraduate qualification (NQF level 7) in Marketing/Brand Management/Tourism Management/Public Relations with Marketing as a major. 
• At least 2-3 years’ experience or equivalent middle management in marketing/brand/communications environment
• 2-3 years’ experience in public sector/ conservation/heritage marketing will be an advantage. Valid drivers licence

Duties :

• To manage and coordinate the development and implementation of an integrated marketing strategy, brand management, campaigns and digital marketing for the entity to promote its programmes, services, tourism products and corporate image, to increase public awareness, stakeholder engagement and revenue generation in line with government communication policy and PFMA Provide strategic direction and leadership.
• Authorised to sign off on work (content and quality). Management of sub-programme work – Stakeholder management; ; ensure planning, scheduling, evaluating etc.
• Ensure work is carried out according to quality standards; overseeing strategic projects Lead planning process (strategy, business planning and budgeting)
• Management of Human Resources Management of Financial Resources Management of Administrative Systems Coordination with other sub-programmes and with rest of departments on joint work Coordination with other departments on aspects of work.
