POSITION INFO:
A security service company is looking for a reliable, organised, and detail-orientated Debtors Controller / Debtors Accountant to join their team in Garsfontein. They are seeking someone who enjoys working with numbers, takes responsibility for their work, and can manage day-to-day financial administration efficiently. Duties & Responsibilities Manage debtors accounts and follow up on outstanding payments. Handle customer accounts, statements, and account queries. Perform monthly account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies. Process and capture payments accurately. Assist with creditor administration and payment processing. Manage purchase orders, invoices, and supplier documentation on COUPA. Capture and maintain accurate financial records on Pastel. Assist with general office administration and financial reporting. Maintain proper filing and supporting documentation. Provide general support to the finance and administration functions. Desired Experience & Qualification Minimum Requirements: Previous experience in debtors control, bookkeeping, or accounts administration. Working knowledge of SAGE Pastel Partner and COUPA is essential. Good understanding of account reconciliations and payment processing. Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel. Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy. Good communication and organizational skills. Ability to work independently, meet deadlines and follow up on outstanding matters. Honest, dependable, and proactive with a strong sense of responsibility. Tertiary qualification (BCom or equivalent).   The Ideal Candidate: A hands-on individual who can take ownership of the debtor’s function, keep accounts up to date, follow through on outstanding payments, and ensure that daily financial administration runs smoothly.
