POSITION INFO:
Our client operates in a large-scale industrial manufacturing environment, where financial reporting is closely connected to operational performance, project activity and business decision-making. They are looking for a Financial Reporting Manager who can bring technical expertise and strong leadership to the finance function. You'll lead five Accountants and a Financial Administrator, oversee the financial reporting process and ensure the integrity of financial information, from the general ledger and trial balance through to group financial statements and consolidations. You'll also work closely with project accounting specialists, providing technical support and ensuring that financial reporting keeps pace with the complexity of the operation. Key Responsibilities Oversee the preparation and review of financial reports, group financial statements and consolidation schedules. Manage the integrity of the general ledger, trial balances, invoicing and financial reporting processes. Provide technical accounting guidance, review complex transactions and support the development of the finance team. Work alongside project accounting specialists to ensure accurate project accounting, reporting and financial information. Job Experience & Skills CA(SA) with a minimum of two years' post-qualification experience. Experience in manufacturing, steel, mining, minerals or engineering environments. Strong technical financial reporting, consolidations and financial statement preparation experience. Oracle experience, with proven people management and leadership capabilities.
