Construction Project Manager

SUMMARY:
We are seeking a highly specialized Senior Project Construction Manager to join a high-performing team to take lead in execution of large-scale capital projects in the mining and mineral processing industry.
This is an opportunity for a senior professional with a strong technical foundation, proven construction leadership capabilities and a track record of successfully executing large-scale EPCM projects.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements Must hold BSc \/ BTech Degree, Diploma or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering is preferred. A certified professional with PMP (Project Management Professional) or PrCPM (Professional Construction Project Manager). Minimus of 18 years of relevant experience in construction and project execution, gained within the EPCM environment. Previous project experience in leading the project from detailed engineering and specialized equipment procurement of (SMP+E ), installation, commissioning, and final plant handover. Proficiency in Primavera P6 , MS Projec t, and specialized project controls and document management. Key Skills and Competencies Strong construction leadership and people-management capabilities. Extensive EPCM project execution experience. Proven ability to manage contractors and multidisciplinary teams Key Responsibilities Lead and manage construction activities across major EPCM projects. Coordinate contractors, subcontractors, engineering teams and other project stakeholders. Drive construction planning, scheduling, resource allocation and project execution. Monitor project progress against approved schedules, budgets, quality standards and performance targets. Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality requirements. Identify construction risks, resolve site challenges and implement effective mitigation strategies. Work closely with engineering, procurement, project controls and commissioning teams to ensure seamless project delivery. Manage construction interfaces and maintain effective communication with clients and multidisciplinary teams.
