Position Purpose
The purpose of this role is to drive organizational growth by overseeing all technical operations and technological resources. The incumbent will establish a strategic technological vision and lead the development and execution of unit-level tech initiatives

Role Requirements & Qualifications

1. Degree: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience)
2. Management Track: 5+ years of experience leading, managing, or co-leading software development teams
3. Scaling & Growth: 5+ years of proven experience building, scaling, and nurturing high-performing engineering teams within a fast-paced or rapidly growing organization
4. Technical Hands-On: 5+ years of active software development experience as a direct contributor to production codebases

POSITION INFO:
Technical Competencies & Experience: Strategic Executive Collaboration: Partner closely with the CEO, Managing Directors, and Group Financial Director to shape the organization's technical vision and spearhead all aspects of technological advancement. Technology Strategy & Infrastructure Leadership: Formulate, direct, and oversee the enterprise-wide technology strategy to drive future growth, ensuring robust management from core infrastructure through to development technologies. Systems & Process Transformation: Lead the end-to-end implementation and deployment of new or optimized systems, workflows, and technologies across the business. Continuous Performance Optimization: Continuously evaluate technical efficiencies, infrastructure performance, and operational metrics to implement proactive adjustments and enhancements. Market Intelligence & Innovation: Monitor emerging technological trends and industry innovations to identify competitive advantages and strategic opportunities for the organization. Sustainability & Efficiency Governance: Maintain ultimate accountability for the long-term sustainability, scalability, and operational efficiency of the business's technological ecosystem. Impact & ROI Analysis: Conduct comprehensive assessments of technical solutions to evaluate organizational impact, focusing on workflow automation, risk mitigation, cost-benefit ratios, and resource optimization. Vendor Management & Procurement: Oversee tech-related procurement strategies, vendor negotiations, and asset lifecycle management to ensure optimal resource allocation. Agile Project Execution: Execute ad hoc strategic initiatives and specialized projects to support evolving business requirements. Operational Adaptability: Perform any other reasonable duties or special assignments as requested by executive leadership to support overarching business objectives.
