Cattle Manager

POSITION INFO:
Opportunity for an experienced Cattleman to join a team in Graaf Reneit. Requirements: Minimum 4 years' experience working at a cattle feedlot Extensive cattle experience and a genuine passion for working with cattle Matric \/ Grade 12 Animal Health qualification would be advantageous Excellent leadership, people and communication skills Computer literate with basic Excel knowledge Strong numeracy and attention to detail Able to work effectively under pressure Willingness to work weekends, night shifts, overtime and public holidays In this role, you'll play a key part in: • Caring for and monitoring cattle health and welfare • Identifying and treating sick cattle • Managing cow and calf herds • Processing incoming cattle • Supporting vaccination and biosecurity programmes • Managing cattle movements and pen allocation • Monitoring feed bunks, grazing camps and water resources • Maintaining accurate livestock records and reports • Leading and managing cattle and feedlot staff Ready for change?
