An established organization within the tourism and hospitality sectors, known for its commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences in luxurious settings, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Chef to join their team in the Waterberg, Limpopo. What You'll Do: Prepare and present high-quality meals in accordance with the lodge’s menus and luxury standards for breakfast, lunch, high tea, and dinner. Ensure consistency in meal quality, flavor, and presentation. Maintain impeccable kitchen hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety standards. Assist with menu planning, food preparation, and stock control to optimize resources. Manage portion control, reduce food wastage, and monitor ingredient usage. Oversee food quality, freshness, storage, and stock rotation. Collaborate closely with lodge management to ensure an outstanding guest dining experience. Requirements: Previous experience as a Chef or Cook, preferably in a lodge, hotel, or similar hospitality environment. Ability to prepare a variety of dishes to a high standard. Good knowledge of food hygiene, safety, and kitchen procedures. Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently. Ability to perform under pressure while maintaining consistent food quality. Excellent teamwork and time management skills. 2 to 5 years of relevant experience.
