Audit Manager

Non-Negotiables:

• BCom Honours / CTA / CA(SA).
• Minimum 2 years’ Audit Management experience.
• Deadline-driven with the ability to drive audit processes with urgency.
• Licensed and own vehicle.
• Strong accountability and ability to lead a team to meet deadlines.
• Experience with performance management and disciplinary processes.
• Our established client within the audit and advisory industry is on the search for a deadline-driven, proactive and accountable Audit Manager to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage audit engagements from planning through to finalisation, ensuring deadlines, budgets and quality standards are met.
• Lead, motivate and develop audit teams, including coaching and mentoring Trainee Accountants in line with SAICA requirements.
• Review audit files and financial statements and ensure compliance with ISAs and firm methodology.
• Identify audit risks, resolve issues and provide practical solutions.
• Build strong client relationships and manage client expectations.
• Monitor budgets, WIP, recoverability and billing.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency and service delivery.
• Work closely with Partners and contribute to the overall success and growth of the Audit Department.
