An exciting opportunity exists for a talented Cross-Platform Mobile App Developer to join a growing software development team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining mobile applications that meet client and user requirements. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, test, and maintain cross-platform mobile applications. Build and configure Android applications using Ionic, Vue.js, TypeScript, and Capacitor. Integrate mobile applications with RESTful APIs and third-party services. Troubleshoot application issues, build failures, and device-specific problems. Optimise application performance, security, and maintainability. Collaborate with development teams and stakeholders in an Agile environment. Manage version control and contribute to ongoing application enhancements. Support deployment, updates, and maintenance throughout the application lifecycle. Job Experience and Skills Required: Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Development, or a related field. Minimum 3 years' software development experience, including practical mobile application development. Proven experience developing cross-platform mobile applications using Ionic and Vue.js. Strong proficiency in TypeScript. Experience using Capacitor to build and generate Android applications. Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive mobile design. Experience integrating RESTful APIs and third-party services. Knowledge of backend development, including API design, authentication, data validation, and error handling. Experience working with relational or NoSQL databases. Familiarity with Android Studio, Android SDK configuration, permissions, signing certificates, and release builds. Experience with Git or similar source control platforms. Knowledge of mobile application security and secure API communication. Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills. Advantageous: Experience with Node.js or NestJS. Experience publishing applications to the Google Play Store. Knowledge of push notifications, biometric authentication, camera integration, geolocation, and offline synchronisation. Experience with automated build and deployment pipelines. Familiarity with monitoring, analytics, and crash-reporting tools. Exposure to iOS application development using Ionic, Vue.js, and Capacitor. Apply now!
