Our client a reputable group is looking for a Wheel Refurbishment Painter to prepare, paint and finish wheel rims to the required quality standards. The ideal candidate will have spray-painting experience, good attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently while maintaining consistent quality.

Remuneration:
R 20 000 – R 25 000 per month depending on experience.

POSITION INFO:
Duties include Prepare wheel rims for painting, ensuring surfaces are clean and free from dust and contaminants. Inspect unpainted rims to ensure surfaces are suitable for painting. Mix paint correctly to achieve the required colour and viscosity. Mount wheel rims securely onto holding racks in preparation for painting. Carry out spray painting and\/or powder coating to achieve a high-quality finish. Place painted rims into the curing oven and select the correct curing programme. Complete any required finishing and polishing on wheel rims. Inspect finished rims for blemishes, imperfections or defects. Carry out touch-ups and corrective work where required. Maintain clean and organised paint areas and workstations. Ensure paint guns, filters and other equipment are cleaned and maintained properly. Meet required production volumes while maintaining quality standards. Follow all workplace, safety and quality procedures. Perform any additional reasonable duties as requested by the Supervisor\/Manager. Requirements: Matric \/ Grade 12 preferred. Ability to read and understand basic work instructions. Basic numeracy skills with the ability to count accurately. Previous spray-painting experience is required . Ability to spray paint and achieve a consistent, quality finish. Experience in wheel refurbishment, automotive painting, panel beating or a similar environment is required. Strong attention to detail and a good eye for colour and finish. Reliable, hardworking and quality-focused. Good verbal communication skills. Able to work to production targets and deadlines. Team player with a positive, hands-on approach.
