Commodity Leader (Automotive)

SUMMARY:
Our client in the automotive industry based in Rosslyn is seeking a Commodity Leader who will be responsible for driving the implementation of the commodity strategy, ensuring alignment with global purchasing priorities and delivering performance objectives across quality, cost, and supply.

POSITION INFO:
Duties: Delivery of commodity strategic plan Commodity-specific metrics Performance versus business SLAs Business stakeholder satisfaction Supply performance Compliance and risk management Organizational impact and personal development Support the Commodity Director / Manager in development of strategy for his/her commodities Implement the commodity strategic purchasing process, under management of the GCD (e.g., launch RFx, manage catalogue, etc) Provide insights into specific suppliers, markets and business factors Ensure compliance with global policy Minimum requirements: Minimum Education Level: Prefer Diploma/degree in Business, Purchasing or Engineering. Prior experience with purchasing / strategic sourcing or sales is highly desirable Experience in global commodity management and advanced analytics tools advantageous
