Writer Intern

Requirements:

• South African citizen with a valid South African ID.   Aged 18-28.   Currently unemployed.   Meet the YES programme’s Black youth eligibility criteria, as defined by the B-BBEE codes.   Available for the full 12-month work experience programme.   Reliable, willing to learn and able to work in a team.   Priority will be given to applicants living in Makers Valley–Bertrams, Bezuidenhout Valley, Judith’s Paarl, Lorentzville and Troyeville–and neighbouring communities.   Help tell the stories of Makers Valley through articles, interviews, newsletters and community profiles.   Strong writing skills, creativity and an interest in community storytelling would be valuable.
