POSITION INFO:
Qualifications and Skills : Knowledge of 2-stroke, 4-stroke and diesel engines. Technical qualification (advantageous). Previous experience as a mechanic/technician in the equipment hire industry would be advantages. Reliable and hardworking. Ability to work independently and within a team. Customer-focused mindset. Valid driver's licence. Key Responsibilities: Inspect, service, and repair small and medium plant and equipment. Diagnose faults and carry out necessary mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical repairs. Conduct pre-hire and post-hire checks to maintain safety and performance standards. Ensure that necessary spare parts are planned for and ordered. Maintain workshop tools, equipment, and a clean, safe working environment. Keep accurate service and repair records. Adhere to companies operational standards, dress code, and procedures outlined in the Operations Manual
