Job Specification: Workshop Technician Job Overview Position: Workshop Technician Location: Bloemfontein Reporting To: Workshop Manager Reference Number: MID730   Primary Purpose & Key Responsibilities Determine the cause of failure and repair hydraulic equipment. Book units in for repairs and create job cards by noting down customer repair instructions and notes. Repair hydraulic units. Perform high-pressure hydraulics fault finding and repairs, as well as pneumatics fault finding, maintenance, and repairs. Mentor learners by teaching them repair skills. Assist customers and sales representatives with offloading units when needed. Keep the workshop clean and organised.   Requirements & Qualifications Education: Matric is non-negotiable. Any technical qualifications (such as N3) are beneficial. Experience: Worked as a power tool technician for at least 3 years. Previous repair experience is beneficial. Hydraulic and pneumatic knowledge is beneficial. Skills and Knowledge: Hands-on technical skills and interpersonal skills. Familiarity with SAP Business One. High-pressure hydraulics fault finding and repairs. Pneumatics fault finding, maintenance, and repairs. Computer literate. Communication skills.
