POSITION INFO:
An established automotive dealership is seeking an experienced Workshop Foreman to join their technical team in Port Elizabeth. The purpose of the role is to ensure the efficient and quality delivery of workshop operations, while supporting the technical team and ensuring customer service and repair requirements are effectively managed. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Ensure customers' service and repair requirements are delivered accurately and efficiently. Plan workshop activities effectively to balance capacity and workload. Supervise, motivate and manage technical staff to achieve performance standards. Maintain good housekeeping and organisation within the workshop. Assist with customer engagements relating to technical matters. Support the overall efficiency and quality of workshop operations. Generate and maintain relevant daily workshop reports. REQUIREMENTS Qualified Motor Mechanic. Minimum 5 years' post-qualification experience. Previous Workshop Foreman experience. Previous experience within a franchised dealership. Strong diagnostics and fault-finding experience. Sound knowledge of the motor vehicle industry. Ability to organise and manage workshop operations. Ability to supervise and work effectively with a technical team. Strong computer literacy and reporting ability. Knowledge and understanding of OEM rules and regulations. Valid, unendorsed driver's licence. Strong attention to detail.
