Job Title: Winch Operator (Underground Platinum Mine)
Location: Lydenburg, Mpumalanga 

Job Overview:
Operate underground winches to move rock, materials and equipment safely.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements: Grade 10 or higher, with a winch operator ticket or equivalent. At least 2 years' underground winch experience. Knowledge of signals, rope inspection and winch safety. Valid Certificate of Fitness. Advantageous: Experience in conventional stoping sections; basic mechanical knowledge; platinum mining experience. Key Responsibilities: Inspect the winch, ropes and signalling system before starting. Operate the winch to the signals given, and keep to safe working limits. Keep the winch area clear of people and hazards. Report faults and rope or equipment defects straight away. Complete shift reports and report incidents. To apply, email CV & certificates to: , or
