Overview: A manufacturing company seeks to employ a Welder on a month-to-month contract. Requirements:   3+ years' welding experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment Proficient in MIG welding (TIG or Stick an advantage) Able to read and work from drawings Willing to work shifts and overtime when required Basic knowledge of quality checks and weld inspection Own transport advantageous Reliable attendance essential   Responsibilities: Weld components using MIG, TIG and\/or Stick processes Read and interpret engineering drawings and weld symbols Cut, fit and prepare materials before welding Inspect welds for defects and carry out rework where needed Maintain welding equipment and keep the work area clean and safe Meet daily production targets and quality requirements Follow all health and safety procedures and wear correct PPE
