What you'll do

• Coordinate and schedule warehouse personnel daily to ensure optimal staffing, meeting work demands efficiently and cost-effectively.
• Lead employee training, assign and delegate tasks, evaluate performance, and manage reward and disciplinary processes.
• Conduct daily meetings to review objectives, monitor progress, and align team efforts with operational goals.
• Oversee personnel administration activities as required to maintain workforce effectiveness.
• Implement and enforce warehouse safety programmes, ensuring all safety procedures are adhered to and equipment is properly maintained.
• Directly supervise day-to-day warehouse operations to guarantee timely and accurate completion of tasks.
• Regularly review system reports and promptly address any issues or discrepancies.
• Analyse reports to verify accurate picking, checking, and inventory management.
• Perform routine inspections of the warehouse environment to monitor production and maintain cleanliness.
• Conduct investigations and ensure compliance with all warehouse processes, procedures, and systems.

What you bring

• A minimum of 3 to 5 years' experience working in a Distribution Centre environment.

• Possession of a qualified post-basic educational qualification.
