- The role of a Warehouse Manager is the provision of materials and supplies by directing receiving, warehousing, and distribution services (inbound and outbound); and managing warehouse personnel.
The main missions of the role are:
- Analyse, understand and anticipate the customer needs, ensuring that they are reflected in production activities.
- Ensure customer satisfaction: Manage day to day (inbound and outbound) activities, anticipate customer requirements and maintain good relationships.
- Maintain receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
- Comply with group warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements by enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions (Ensure that 13 Mandatory rules are being adhered to; Ensure that 13 HRLG are implemented and adhered to; Manage teams in line with OHP guidelines; Ensure that 7 Inventory basics are implemented and adhered to; Ensure that 7 delivery basics are implemented and adhered to, ICB Standards and FCB standards)
- Safeguard warehouse operations, physical assets, information, systems, and records by establishing, implementing, and monitoring appropriate physical and information security procedures and controls.
- Ensure confidential business, customer, supplier, employee, inventory, and logistics information is protected against unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, loss, or misuse.
- Identify information security risks, enforce applicable controls, and respond appropriately to suspected incidents or breaches.
- Control inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system.
- Maintain physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.
- Achieve financial objectives by assisting in preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
- Maintains warehouse staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Accountable for implementing and monitoring information security controls within the warehouse function, including appropriate system access, secure handling and disposal of records, protection of confidential operational information, and compliance by employees, contractors, and service providers. Ensure access rights are reviewed when employees join, transfer, or leave the function, and escalate all actual or suspected information security incidents without delay.
- Actively participate in ongoing security-related training and development programs and audits.

Minimum education level: BDegree / Diploma in Planning and Logistics / Inventory & Stores Management
