PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

TechBridge Recruitment is seeking an experienced, hands-on Warehouse Manager on behalf of our client in the automotive parts distribution sector.
The successful candidate will take full responsibility for warehouse operations, ensuring accurate inventory control, efficient receiving and dispatch, optimal productivity, cost management and on-time customer deliveries.

This is a NIGHT SHIFT position
Monday to Friday (18h00 to 06h00)

POSITION INFO:
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Minimum 5 years' warehouse management experience , preferably within the automotive parts industry. Proven experience managing large warehouse teams, including supervisors, pickers, packers and dispatch personnel. Strong knowledge of inventory management, stock control, cycle counts and stock reconciliations. Comprehensive understanding of receiving, warehousing, picking, packing and dispatch operations. Experience working with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). Strong understanding of warehouse KPIs, productivity and operational cost control. Knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety and ISO 9001 \/ ISO 45001 standards. Proven ability to implement operational improvements and manage warehouse performance. Qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or Business Administration advantageous. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Oversee daily warehouse operations from receiving through to final dispatch. Ensure accurate stock management, inventory integrity and stock availability. Manage warehouse productivity, staffing, performance and operational KPIs. Drive efficient order fulfilment and on-time deliveries. Implement effective warehouse layouts, processes and cost-saving initiatives. Maintain compliance with health, safety, security and quality standards. Lead, coach and develop warehouse teams while maintaining discipline and accountability. Identify operational inefficiencies and implement continuous improvement strategies. Collaborate with internal departments to ensure service delivery excellence. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE We are looking for a strong operational leader who understands warehouse management from the ground up - someone who is equally comfortable managing people, analysing performance reports and resolving operational challenges on the warehouse floor. Managing a team of approxamitely 70 staff per shift. We are NOT looking for: Candidates with supervisory experience only and no proven warehouse management background. Purely administrative or logistics coordination profiles without hands-on warehouse experience. Candidates without strong inventory control and people management experience.
