Our client, a well-established organisation in the FMCG / manufacturing sector, is seeking an experienced and hands-on Warehouse Manager to take full responsibility for the efficient management of the warehouse function.
POSITION INFO:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Manage the day-to-day warehouse operation, including receiving, picking, stock control and dispatch coordination. Lead, manage and develop warehouse staff to ensure productivity, discipline and compliance. Ensure orders are picked accurately and timeously and resolve any picking, stock or system discrepancies. Manage stock takes, cycle counts, reconciliations and stock adjustments. Ensure effective stock rotation, FIFO compliance and accurate stock records. Maintain a clean, organised, secure and stock-take-ready warehouse. Manage warehouse resources including forklifts, pallets and waste. Liaise with internal departments regarding stock availability, orders and operational delays. Ensure compliance with FSSC \/ ISO 22000, health & safety and company procedures. Monitor staff attendance, performance and conduct, addressing disciplinary matters when required. Prepare relevant operational reports and provide accurate information to senior management. Drive continuous improvement, efficiency and high levels of customer service. REQUIREMENTS Matric \/ Grade 12. Previous warehouse supervisory or management experience. Experience in FMCG, manufacturing, logistics or a similar environment advantageous. Strong knowledge of warehouse, stock control and picking processes. ERP system experience highly advantageous. Computer literate. Knowledge of FSSC \/ ISO 22000 and OHS requirements advantageous. Fully bilingual in English and Afrikaans. Own reliable transport.
