Job Title: UV Operator (Underground Platinum Mine)
Location: Lydenburg, Mpumalanga

Job Overview:
Operate an underground utility vehicle (UV) to transport people, materials and equipment safely.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements: Grade 10 or higher, with the relevant vehicle operator ticket or equivalent. At least 2 years' experience driving underground utility vehicles. Knowledge of underground traffic management. Valid Certificate of Fitness and a valid driver's licence. Advantageous: Experience in platinum mining; experience transporting explosives where authorised; basic maintenance knowledge. Key Responsibilities: Pre-use inspect the vehicle and report defects. Transport people, explosives (where authorised), consumables and equipment to the working places. Follow traffic rules and load limits at all times. Keep the vehicle clean and in good working order.
