Treasury Administrator

Purpose of the Role

• The successful candidate will be responsible to vet, validate and process outward domestic and cross-border payments and redeem inward cross border payments. The successful candidate should have knowledge and experience in SARB bop reporting, online banking processing, resolving queries and work well within a team.
• Execute foreign payments and receipts in compliance with  SARB Balance of payments (i.e BOP)
• Prepare and collate data analytics on movements of foreign currency
• Process local and cross-border payments via various online banking platforms
• Collate reporting via Treasury Management system
• Execute interbank/ inter account transfers for foreign currency to accommodate adequate reserves/ funding
• Collate & prepare data for reporting requirements for banks in terms of SARB legislation for compliance with Exchange Control Approvals (ECA’s) and rulings 
• Query resolution – internal and external parties eg. Banks, SARB

General Experience

• Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a Banking back-office processing environment (strongly preferred)
• Understanding of banking legislation specific to cross border SARB Exchange Control regulations
• Practical knowledge & experience with processing of foreign payments and receipts
