What you'll do
- Assist in the daily management of supermarket operations to ensure smooth and efficient store functioning.
- Support the development and coaching of team members to foster a motivated and high-performing workforce.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, hygiene, health, and safety standards at all times.
- Contribute to effective inventory control and loss prevention initiatives to sustain financial performance.
- Provide excellent customer service, creating a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for all shoppers.
- Participate in financial and administrative tasks, aiding in budgeting, reporting, and cost control.
- Promote a positive store culture based on trust, honesty, integrity, and respect.

What you bring
- Matric certificate or equivalent secondary education qualification is required.
- Previous experience in retail or customer service environments is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with customers and team members.
- Basic understanding of retail operations, including inventory management and loss prevention, is preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership potential with willingness to learn and develop management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
