Employer Description Bulk coal export facility Job Description Terminal simulation; Interpretive scenario formulation; Cross-functional tactical alignment; Tactical system optimisation; Terminal data analytics; SHE and administrative compliance Qualifications Bachelors or Honours degree in Industrial Engineering, Data Science or Applied Mathematics Formal certification in Continuous improvement methodologies (e.g. Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt). Skills 5 years work experience in Advanced Analytics or Quantitative Engineering, designing dashboards and simulation; 5 years proven work experience analyzing material flows within heavy industries (e.g. mining, port terminals, bulk rail or heavy logistics) Clear understanding of physical asset-management frameworks, including equipment availability, reliability and maintenance scheduling Advanced proficiency in industrial simulation environments (e.g. AnyLogic, Simio, FlexSim or Arena); Competency in Java, Python R or C++ alongside proficient SQL relational database querying; Advanced mastery of industrial statistics, queueing theory, probability modelling and data-fitting technologies; Proficiency in building operational reporting systems within corporate BI tools (e.g. Power BI or Tableau).
