Technical Sales Representative

INTRODUCTION

Our client is seeking an experienced Technical Sales Representative to grow its presence in the mining and minerals processing sector in the Rustenburg area. This opportunity is suited to a commercially driven sales professional who understands the mining environment, can build strong industry relationships and has a proven ability to secure new business.

EXPERIENCE

• Extensive technical sales experience in the mining and/or minerals processing industry.

• Basic understanding of mining operations.

• Sound understanding of marketing principles.

• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and winning new business.
  
  

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

• Post-matric qualification.

• Extensive technical sales experience in mining and/or minerals processing.

• Basic understanding of mining operations.

• Demonstrated sales achievements and new business development experience.

• Strong communication, networking and relationship-building skills.

• Ability to present technical products and solutions and develop client relationships.
  
  

ADVANTAGEOUS

• Established relationships with mining houses, mine sites, consultants and EPCMs.

• Experience selling technical products and solutions.

• Experience setting budgets, monitoring sales performance and contributing to growth strategies.

• Based in or near Rustenburg.
