Technical Sales Representative – Agricultural Drone Technology Location: Nelspruit \/ Mbombela – covering Limpopo & Mpumalanga Salary: Market-related + commission & extensive benefits About the Role Our client is a leading provider of agricultural drone technology and precision farming solutions , helping farmers improve the efficiency, accuracy and productivity of their farming operations through innovative drone-based applications. We are looking for a Technical Sales Representative with a strong agricultural and technical understanding to join their team and service the Limpopo and Mpumalanga regions , with Nelspruit \/ Mbombela being the preferred base. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who understands both agriculture and drone technology and enjoys working directly with farmers to identify their needs and provide practical, technology-driven solutions. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain strong relationships with farmers and agricultural clients across Limpopo and Mpumalanga. Identify opportunities for the implementation of agricultural drone technology. Demonstrate and sell drone-based spraying and precision agriculture solutions. Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations. Provide clients with technical advice and support. Identify customer requirements and recommend appropriate solutions. Manage the sales process from lead generation through to closing. Develop new business within the agricultural sector. Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and identify opportunities for additional sales. Attend agricultural events, demonstrations and industry days where required. Work closely with the technical and operational teams to ensure successful implementation. Minimum Requirements Proven experience in technical sales , preferably within the agricultural sector. Strong understanding of agriculture and farming operations . Must be able to fly agricultural drones. Valid RPC (Remote Pilot Licence\/Certificate) or equivalent drone qualification. A PCO qualification would be highly advantageous. Previous experience with agricultural drone applications, spraying or precision farming will be advantageous. Strong technical aptitude and the ability to explain technical products to clients in a practical and understandable manner. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Self-motivated, commercially minded and comfortable working independently. Willingness to travel extensively throughout Limpopo and Mpumalanga . A valid driver's licence. The ideal candidate will be based in or around Nelspruit \/ Mbombela and comfortable travelling extensively throughout Limpopo and Mpumalanga .
