WE’RE HIRING: TECHNICAL ASSISTANTS Location: Maitland, Cape Town Salary: R12,000 – R15,000 per month RecruitSmith is hiring 15 experienced Technical Assistants to join a team in AUTOMOTIVE TECHNOLOGY. If you have hands-on experience installing and maintaining vehicle cameras and tracking systems, this could be the opportunity you've been waiting for! What you’ll be doing Install, remove and maintain vehicle cameras and tracking units. Prepare equipment and wiring, and perform basic repairs on and off-site. Diagnose faults and ensure systems operate reliably. Complete and sign off job cards accurately, safely and confidentially. Provide professional and courteous service to customers. Travel and work overtime, including weekends, when required. What you’ll need Grade 12 (an auto-electrical or similar qualification will be advantageous). Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar technical role . Valid Code B driver’s licence. Practical experience with vehicle electrical systems, cameras or tracking devices will be beneficial. Good troubleshooting skills and a professional attitude. Willingness to travel and work overtime when required. Ready to apply?
