SUMMARY:
Job Title: Team Leader (Underground Platinum Mine)
Location: Leydenburg, Mpumalanga

Job Overview:
The Team Leader leads a crew at the working face and is accountable for getting work done safely and in line with the production plan. The role is the link between the shift supervisor and the operators and workers on the ground.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements: Grade 12 or equivalent, with relevant underground training certificates. At least 3 to 5 years' underground experience, including time leading a crew or team. Good knowledge of conventional stoping and development, or trackless sections. Valid certificate of fitness. Advantageous: Hybrid conventional and trackless experience; a blasting certificate; platinum mining experience. Key Responsibilities: Allocate tasks and supervise the team at the working face. Check the working place for hazards and report them before work starts. Make sure safe work procedures, equipment checks and PPE are followed. Keep production records and report to the shift supervisor. Coach and develop the team members and report attendance and discipline matters. To apply, email CV to: , or
