Job Description Prepare clear structural engineering layout drawings using 2D and 3D AutoCAD software. Read and interpret architectural project drawings under the guidance of senior team members. Assist in drafting reinforced concrete framing plans, sections, and bar bending schedules. Create basic structural steel layout details, including portal frames, connections, and baseplates. Update and amend technical drawings accurately according to the engineers' markup instructions. Maintain neat electronic drawing registers, file structures, and project revision records daily. Draft professional, well-compiled email updates to communicate clearly with project team members. What You Need to Apply A completed Diploma or Certificate in Draughting or Civil Engineering. Strong practical training and working knowledge of AutoCAD software. Foundational understanding of structural concrete, steelwork, and technical drawing standards. No prior work experience needed, making this ideal for a motivated graduate. High attention to detail, accuracy, and pride in producing neat technical drawings.
