Stock Controller

SUMMARY:
Are you organised, detail-oriented and passionate about maintaining accurate stock records? Our client, a well-established automotive dealership in Alberton, is looking for a reliable and hands-on Stock Controller to join their team.

POSITION INFO:
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, conducting regular stock takes and ensuring effective stock control within the dealership. Key Responsibilities Maintain accurate inventory and stock records. Conduct regular stock takes and reconcile physical stock against system records. Monitor and record incoming and outgoing stock. Identify, investigate and report stock discrepancies. Ensure all stock movements are accurately captured and accounted for. Maintain an organised and efficient stock control system. Assist with month-end stock takes and reconciliations. Ensure compliance with dealership stock control procedures. Minimum Requirements Grade 12 / Matric certificate (essential). A certificate or diploma in Inventory Management, Stock Control, Logistics or Supply Chain Management will be advantageous. Previous experience in stock control or inventory management. Experience within an automotive dealership will be advantageous. Computer literacy, particularly Microsoft Excel. Experience working with stock management or inventory systems. Strong numerical ability and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and take accountability for stock accuracy. Reliable, honest and able to work under pressure.
