About the Role
Fidelity Services Group is looking for a hands-on Software Engineer to join our technology team. The successful candidate will design, develop and maintain secure, scalable and reliable software solutions that support business-critical operations. This role is suited to an experienced professional who enjoys solving complex technical problems, strengthening engineering practices and collaborating with stakeholders to deliver meaningful outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, debug, deploy and maintain high-quality software applications.
Translate business and stakeholder requirements into technical specifications and practical solutions.
Contribute to software architecture, focusing on scalability, performance, maintainability and extensibility.
Troubleshoot complex software defects and implement sustainable solutions.
Conduct code reviews and promote coding standards, testing practices and engineering discipline.
Develop and maintain technical specifications, system designs and supporting documentation.
Collaborate with product, design, quality assurance and other cross-functional teams.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement and technology adoption.
Apply secure software development principles and support automated build and deployment practices.
Contribute to production reliability, monitoring, incident resolution and continuous service improvement.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
Proven experience designing and developing complex software applications.
Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages, including Java, C#, Python, JavaScript or TypeScript.
Sound knowledge of software development methodologies, version control, integrated development environments and testing frameworks.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication and collaboration skills.
Demonstrated ability to guide and mentor junior engineers.

Production support and system reliability.
Technology Exposure
Programming languages: Python, JavaScript, Java, C#, TypeScript.
Front-end: React, Angular, Vue.js.
Back-end: Node.js, Django, Ruby on Rails.
Mobile: Swift, Kotlin, Flutter.
Data and integration: SQL, NoSQL, API development, Microsoft Power Platform.
