Our client is seeking to employ a Social Media Specialist to join their team based in Port Elizabeth.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements: Minimum 2 years' experience in social media, digital marketing, or paid media. Demonstrated experience managing both organic and paid content across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube. Hands-on experience running paid advertising campaigns with measurable ROAS and CPC results. Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, content formats, and audience behaviour. Ability to conceptualise and coordinate engaging short-form video content. Basic video editing skills, with experience using tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere, or similar. Proficient in reading and interpreting social media and advertising analytics. Experience creating performance reports and translating data into actionable recommendations. Experience managing multiple brand accounts simultaneously will be advantageous. Relevant qualification in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Strong creative and strategic thinking abilities. Excellent influencer and brand relationship management skills. Strong organisational and content planning skills. High level of brand awareness and attention to detail. Commercial awareness and an analytical mindset. Ability to collaborate effectively within a marketing team. Adaptability, accountability, and the ability to work independently. Willingness and ability to become proficient in platforms and tools including Meta Business Suite, TikTok Ads Manager, Google Ads, Metricool, Humanz, GA4, TikTok Analytics, ClickUp, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Outlook, Canva, CapCut, and Adobe Premiere within the first 60 days. Responsibilities: Build and manage monthly content calendars across all platforms and brands. Develop and execute engaging social media content strategies. Plan, build, launch, monitor, and optimise paid advertising campaigns across Meta, TikTok, and Google. Track and optimise campaign performance against ROAS, CPC, and other relevant KPIs. Identify, onboard, brief, and manage influencers and brand ambassadors. Develop and execute influencer marketing campaigns. Attend brand events and activations to capture and publish real-time social media content. Produce and publish trend-driven short-form video content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts. Conceptualise and execute user-generated content (UGC) campaigns designed to build brand advocacy. Monitor and respond to comments, direct messages, mentions, and community interactions in line with brand guidelines. Track social media and campaign KPIs and prepare weekly performance snapshots. Produce detailed monthly performance reports and provide actionable insights. Conduct regular competitor analysis and identify opportunities for creative and strategic improvement. Identify and manage brand collaborations and co-marketing partnerships. Ensure all content consistently aligns with the relevant brand pillars, tone of voice, and corporate identity. Maintain strong content discipline and ensure adherence to agreed content calendars. Contribute creative ideas and recommendations to grow brand awareness, engagement, and digital communities. Support the achievement of monthly KPIs relating to brand and content, growth and community, paid media, influencer and UGC activity, and reporting.
