Site Supervisor

SUMMARY:
Our client is seeking a dynamic and energetic Site Supervisor to join their Gauteng team, based in Vereeniging.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements: Electrical, Mechanical, or Millwright Trade Certificate. Completed 4-year Apprenticeship and Trade Tested. Red Seal Certification. Valid driver's license with a reliable vehicle. Must reside in the area or be willing to relocate to the region. Availability for standby duties. Willingness to serve on the Health & Safety (H&S) Committee. Willingness to undergo further training or studies. Management experience will be beneficial. Experience: Minimum of 5+ years post-apprenticeship work experience. Working knowledge and practical application of maintenance systems. Working knowledge of procurement procedures. Ability to supervise daily operations and maintenance activities effectively. Strong capability in client liaison and relationship management. Experience in capturing and analysing production data. Experience in monitoring fuel stock, boiler house metrics, and plant efficiencies. Experience compiling daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports. Practical experience applying maintenance systems and procurement procedures Knowledge & Skills : Good administration, data capturing, and filing skills. Strong trend and graph interpretation skills. Proven ability to solve problems Have a focused approach to mitigating risk Good interpersonal skills to support working with a diversified team Motivated by challenging circumstances Be a self-starter and take initiative Excellent time and project management skills Good command of the English language (spoken, written, and read).
