Job Description

• iMas Insurance Brokers, an authorized financial services provider offering financing and insurance solutions, invites applications for or our Short Term Insurance (Non-Life) Learnership Programme.
• This opportunity is open to unemployed individuals from previously disadvantaged and designated groups who are eager to build a career in the insurance industry.

Programme Benefits:

• Practical experience in Telesales and/or Customer Service, in call centre environment.
• Structured theoretical training, combined with on-the-job coaching and mentoring.
• A 12-month fixed-term contract with a monthly allowance of R6,000.
• Attain an Insurance Qualification (NQF Level 4) upon successful completion

Key Learnership Outcomes:

Participants will gain exposure to, amongst others:

• Conducting basic research and applying literacy and numeracy skills in insurance and risk assessment.
• Managing personal risk and understanding the financial risks.
• Applying legislative, ethical and compliance knowledge within the insurance environment

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12 with Mathematics and/or Accounting.
• Currently unemployed.
• Not registered for any other studies, learnership, internship or YES Programme.
• Available to start the learnership immediately.
