R 20 000 - R 25 000 CTC Per Month
- A well-established international trading company is looking for an experienced Shipping and Logistics Clerk / Coordinator to take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of their shipping department.
Minimum requirements:
- Matric
- A relevant qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Shipping, Freight Forwarding or a related field will be advantageous
- 3 Years’ experience in import/export shipping and logistics
- Experience with South African customs procedures and SARS customs entries
- Practical experience with DA 550, EUR.1, invoices, packing lists and certificates of origin
- Experience dealing with shipping lines, freight forwarders and transporters
- Experience coordinating container collections, loading, shipping and delivery
- Strong computer literacy
- Ability to manage multiple shipments and meet strict deadlines
- The successful candidate must be capable of managing the full process independently, from booking, documentation, customs, loading, shipping, arrival and delivery
- Valid drivers license plus own reliable transportation
