Shift Setters – Dairypack (Plastics Manufacturing / Packaging)

SUMMARY:
We’re looking for motivated Shift Setters with strong mechanical aptitude and a proactive attitude to join a manufacturing environment.

POSITION INFO:
Responsibilities Set production machinery according to required standards. Conduct mould and material trials. Monitor production efficiency and minimise material wastage. Identify and report machine, mould and maintenance issues. Ensure product quality, housekeeping and safety standards. Maintain and care for machinery and moulds. Take initiative and assist with production problem-solving. Develop into a supervisory role, overseeing packers and downstream operators during afternoon and night shifts. Work overtime when required. Requirements N3 qualification essential; N4 or higher advantageous. Trade-tested Electrical or Mechanical candidates without an N qualification may be considered. Minimum 3 years experience in a production or manufacturing environment. Strong mechanical aptitude and a hands-on approach. Machine-setting or mechanical experience advantageous. Exposure to stretch blow moulding preferred. Must be willing to work shifts and have reliable own transport. Must be proactive, take initiative and demonstrate leadership potential.
