SUMMARY:
We’re looking for an experienced, hands-on Service Department Manager to oversee a high-volume, multi-department environment (HMR, Sushi, Bakery & more).
This role requires a strong leader with solid financial acumen, a passion for food excellence, and the ability to manage operations efficiently under pressure.
POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities: Operations: Oversee Bakery. Profitability: Drive GP% through strict recipe adherence and waste management. Planning: Ensure accurate production planning aligned to sales demand. Control: Manage ordering, inventory, and shrinkage within all departments. Development: Train and develop staff on processes and service excellence. Requirements: Grade 12\/Matric Relevant Diploma in Retail\/Bakery\/Food Services is advantageous. 3-5 Years Experience in a multi-department food environment - Wholesale & Retail. Financial Acumen: Experience managing GP, COS, waste, and budgets. Technical Skills: Food costing, recipe control, stock management. Leadership: Strong team development and high-pressure performance.
