Salix Recruitment is looking for a driven and commercially minded Senior Recruitment Consultant to join our growing team in Centurion. This is a 360° recruitment role for someone who enjoys the full recruitment lifecycle, from identifying and winning new clients, building relationships and taking briefs, through to sourcing exceptional talent, managing the process, negotiating offers and closing placements. You will have genuine ownership of your desk and will be accountable for business development, client relationships, candidate delivery, placements and revenue. Apply now and join Salix Recruitment! Duties: Win new business through cold calling, email, LinkedIn, referrals and networking. Research and identify opportunities by targeting companies, decision-makers and hiring trends. Build and manage client relationships from initial engagement through to successful placement. Take and qualify detailed job briefs, understanding technical requirements, culture, salary and expectations. Develop and maintain a strong business pipeline and identify new recruitment opportunities. Source and attract top talent through LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, databases, referrals and direct approaches. Build active and passive talent pipelines and maintain strong candidate relationships. Interview and assess candidates for technical, cultural and commercial fit. Manage the recruitment process end-to-end, including interviews, feedback, offers, counteroffers, notice periods and compliance. Negotiate and close placements, managing fees, terms and objections while protecting Salix Recruitment's commercial interests. Job Experience & Skills Required: Qualifications: Matric (Grade 12) University Degree as advantageous Experience: 2-4 years' experience in recruitment, sales, business development or another target-driven B2B environment. A proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets. Experience in cold calling, client acquisition and consultative selling. Strong recruitment and candidate sourcing experience. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Confidence negotiating commercial terms and fees. Strong follow-through, organisation and attention to detail. The resilience to deal with rejection, difficult conversations and setbacks. A solutions-focused approach and the ability to work independently. A valid driver's licence and own vehicle, with the ability to travel to clients across Gauteng.
