Senior Productivity Buyer Manufacturing

SUMMARY:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Productivity Buyer to drive supplier productivity, cost reduction and performance improvement across multiple manufacturing plants.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities Identify and implement product and process cost-reduction initiatives in collaboration with Commodity Teams. Monitor supplier productivity and performance, including quality, cost and delivery. Develop and present productivity improvement plans to plant management. Challenge commodity buyers to achieve productivity targets. Support Supply Chain in resolving supplier delivery deviations and improving delivery performance. Participate in programme kick-off activities, including preparation for production start-up and coordination with Programme Buyers. Lead negotiations for Engineering Change Requests and product productivity initiatives in collaboration with Commodity Teams. Minimum Requirements Bachelor''s or Master''s degree in Engineering or Business. Specialisation in International Purchasing or Supply Chain Management is advantageous. Minimum 3 years'' experience in purchasing, production, quality or sales. Automotive industry experience is advantageous. Required Skills and Competencies Knowledge of productivity improvement and Lean Management methodologies. Understanding of production, quality and logistics processes. Excellent English communication skills. Ability to work effectively within a matrix organisation. Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills. Advantageous: Knowledge of products and technology, supplier auditing processes and quality management.
