Senior Piping Designer

SUMMARY:

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities Lead plant layout and piping design on complex projects Establish piping design philosophies, routing approaches and model requirements Review piping layouts, isometrics, material take-offs and support arrangements Coordinate high-hazard process piping with equipment, structures and safety requirements Lead 3D model, constructability and access reviews Manage piping design deliverables, resources and schedules Coordinate specialist input for stress analysis and pipe-support design Conduct site surveys and lead brownfield design modifications Resolve complex piping interfaces and construction queries Guide piping designers and draughting personnel Manage as-built and handover documentation Minimum Requirements Relevant piping, mechanical or plant-design qualification At least 15 years of piping design experience Extensive chemical, petrochemical, mining or process-plant experience Advanced 2D and 3D plant design capability Proven experience leading piping design packages Strong knowledge of process piping, constructability and multidisciplinary coordination Advantageous ASME B31.3 knowledge Hazardous chemical or explosives plant experience Brownfield and international project experience For more information, contact: Siphelele Mzongwana Recruitment Consultant 📧 🔗 If you have not received a response within two weeks, please consider your application unsuccessful.
