SUMMARY:
A luxury safari lodge in the Addo area, Eastern Cape, is seeking an experienced and passionate SENIOR GUIDE to join their guiding team.

POSITION INFO:
This is a senior guiding role for a knowledgeable, engaging guide who delivers memorable game drives and brings the bush to life for guests. The successful candidate will bring strong field craft, natural storytelling ability, and the confidence to lead and inspire guests and fellow guides in a live-in lodge environment. Core Criteria: Minimum 5 years' guiding experience Valid FGASA guiding qualification Valid First Aid certificate Valid driver's licence and PDP Excellent knowledge of the local fauna, flora, birdlife, and ecology Natural storyteller with excellent guest interaction and communication skills Access to the Addo Park Dangerous game qualification not required Professional, enthusiastic, and a committed team player Comfortable living and working in a remote bush environment Core Responsibilities: Lead guided game drives, delivering safe, engaging, and memorable guest experiences Interpret wildlife, birdlife, and the wider ecology of the area for guests Maintain a safety-first approach at all times Maintain high standards of vehicle care, professionalism, and guest service Work closely with the wider lodge team to ensure a seamless guest experience Support and mentor junior guides where required Contribute to a warm, welcoming atmosphere throughout the guest stay Remuneration & Benefits: Salary: R10,000 - R15,000 per month, dependent on experience Live-in position
